Anti-Tamper Care Alarm

Designed for a carer to monitor when someone gets out of bed, wheelchair or chair to help prevent falls and wandering. A pull cord attaches to the user's clothing which when detached will sound an alarm. The alarm can only be reset by entering a four digit key code on the main unit, or via the supplied infrared remote control. This eliminates the risk of the alarm being turned off by the user without being attended to by the carer. It has loud or soft volume settings, with two alarm sounds, and can be silenced and connected to a nurse call system for remote alarm signalling if required. The alarm features adjustable sand-by time in order to allow the the carer to reposition the person without the alarm being triggered again. Can also be used with optional sensor mats (sold separately) which are placed underneath the person. When pressure is placed or removed from the mat, the alarm will be triggered. Features versatile mounting base and wall hanger, and a cable holder to prevent accidental disconnection. The alarm unit is plastic with a tough, rubberised housing for protection against damage caused by dropping on hard floors.

Requires either 4xAA batteries (not included) or and optional mains adaptor. Features low battery indicator.
